How to Order a Dwarf Step by Step
-
First Step
Our collaboration begins with the signing of a formal agreement. Once the sculpture is completed and accepted, an invoice is issued in accordance with the contract.
-
Concept
The next step is a thorough discussion of the concept for the dwarf — its appearance, character, and distinctive features. It is also possible to commission a personalized dwarf, created in the likeness of a specific individual.
-
Concept Sketches
Following our discussions, several concept sketches are developed to explore the form and character of the future dwarf.
-
The Dwarf Model
Once the design has been selected, a full-scale plasticine model is created. After all details have been carefully refined, detailed photographs are sent for approval.
-
Casting
The dwarf sculpture is cast in a professional foundry using certified metal alloys. The standard height is 35 cm. An engraved plaque with a name or dedication may also be commissioned.
-
Installation
The completed dwarf is professionally installed in its designated location. Responsibility for securing any required permits rests with the client.
-
Timeline
The full realization of each project — from the initial sketch to installation — typically takes one to two months, depending on the complexity of the design.
The Casting Process
Our sculptures are cast from high-quality bronze alloys using the traditional lost-wax method. Practiced for millennia, this noble technique reveals the finest details and textures while preserving the subtle imprint of the artist’s hand.
